It is a 100% natural ointment, used by numerous people around the world, the Tiger Balm brand is one of the best and most well-known natural ointments.
First of all for its effectiveness, given the simplicity and speed of use, and above all for the fact that it is NATURAL.
Tiger Balm uses a unique formula based on plants known for their benefits since ancient China.
Of course, since its creation more than 100 years ago, the ointment has undergone numerous evolutions to become a specific product for all kinds of problems.
There are two types of balm, the white one and the red one, the white one is menthol, the red one is cinnamon although the basic ingredients are the same: camphor, cloves, beeswax and cajeput.
NOT JUST AGAINST MUSCLE PAIN
Tiger Balm has an anti-inflammatory action and improves local microcirculation, therefore it is used to locally treat muscle pain caused by sprains, contractures, lumbago, fatigue; but also joint pain. Not only. It is an excellent natural remedy against headaches (mild or moderate) and coughs: in the latter case, just apply a little on the chest or back, or put a small amount on the handkerchief.
Dissolved in water or inhaled, Tiger Balm helps relieve the symptoms of colds: do not give it to children under the age of two . Furthermore, few people know that it keeps mosquitoes away: it is enough to put a little on some "strategic" points of the body such as the ankles and wrists.
Also recommended for tired feet and as a muscle relaxant before exercise. Of course, in all cases it must be borne in mind that the smell of this substance is quite strong, some may not like it.
WHITE AND RED
There are two types of Tiger Balm: the white one, with menthol, and the red one with cinnamon.
The basic ingredients are the same: camphor, cloves, cajeput and beeswax.
However, the red one also contains cassia oil and cinnamon. Specifically, it is used to soothe muscle contractions, back pain, stiff neck, rheumatic and skeletal pain: apply a layer on the affected part, 2 or 3 times a day, and let it absorb with a delicate massage.
White Tiger Balm, on the other hand, is much lighter, contains eucalyptus and menthol and is the variant used for headaches (you need to put it on the temples and forehead), to decongest the nose, for insect bites and even burns.
BE CAREFUL NOT TO TOUCH YOUR EYES AFTER SPREADING IT! WASH YOUR HANDS WELL, BETTER WITH LIQUID SOAP.
