Roman chamomile is a plant whose flower heads have an intense and particular smell. It contains bitter principles which make it useful in case of gastritis with atony and post-prandial heaviness.
Roman chamomile essential oil is used as a mild sedative of the central nervous system and, due to its gentle activity, it is also used in the presence of small children.
Roman chamomile can also be used in grass for the practice of fumigations in case of throat inflammation or laryngitis. Its anti-inflammatory and calming properties make it a precious ally in these conditions.
