Superba Boost ® Krill Oil-based food supplement titrated in Omega 3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA)
PROPERTY:
OMEGAVD is a food supplement based on Superba Boost ® Krill oil titrated in Omega 3 fatty acids. The OMEGA-3s from Krill oil are conveyed in the form of phospholipids, therefore with greater bioavailability compared to fish oil and they easily reach all tissues of the body, protecting cell membranes from oxidative stress and promoting the control of inflammation.
- The following health claims for EPA, DHA and Choline, contained in just two capsules of OMEGAVD, have also been approved by EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) Commission Regulation (EU) No. 1924/2006 and 432/2012:
• DHA and EPA contribute to the normal function of the heart (0.25 g per day)
• Choline contributes to normal homocysteine metabolism and normal lipid metabolism
INGREDIENTS:
- Oil of Krill Superba Boost ® extracted from Antarctic Krill (Euphausia superba) titrated in Omega 3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA), phospholipids, antioxidant: Astaxanthin
COMPONENT PROPERTIES:
- Thanks to the presence of EPA and DHA the oil of Krill is useful for supporting the health of the heart and cardiovascular system, furthermore choline contributes to the maintenance of normal lipid metabolism.
- Omega-3 and choline promote liver function by supporting the transport of fats from the liver to the tissues.
- Krill oil phospholipids ensure that Omega-3, EPA and DHA, can cross the blood-brain barrier, helping to support cognitive performance and protecting the eyes and visual function (DHA 250 mg/day).
- Krill oil promotes the correct rebalancing of the Omega 3/Omega 6 ratio, reducing inflammation and promoting the well-being of the joints.
- Krill oil is useful in athletes, it provides phospholipids, Omega-3, choline and astaxanthin which enter directly into the cell membranes, promoting the control of oxidative stress, muscle function, improving and speeding up the post-workout recovery phase.
- Thanks to the presence of phospholipids, Krill Oil is up to 4 times more assimilable than fish oil, it is also easily digestible and does not leave a fishy aftertaste.
