FerPlus Tre-Tard 30mg is a high-dose iron supplement in gradual-release gastro-resistant tablets.
The gastro-resistant form makes the product devoid of the characteristic iron flavor and protects from gastric discomfort that is often associated with the intake of this mineral.

The innovative three-stage controlled-release technology , together with the 3 forms of iron (bisglycinate, pidolate and fumarate) allows for gradual absorption throughout the day, therefore better use by the body.

Iron, in association with Vitamin B12 and Folic Acid, contributes to the formation of red blood cells, the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and the normal functioning of the immune system; Vitamin C increases the absorption of iron.

WHEN TO USE IT

It is indicated in cases of iron deficiency and in cases of increased need, such as periods of generalized tiredness, during the menstrual cycle, pregnancy and breastfeeding.

CLINICALLY TESTED TOLERABILITY AND EFFICACY

The tolerability and effectiveness of Ferplus Tre-Tard 30mg were confirmed in a Clinical Study carried out on 40 pregnant women, in which the product was used to fill the deficiencies of this mineral.
Pregnant women were treated with 1 tablet/day of Ferplus Tre-Tard 30mg. The blood count was evaluated at baseline, at the 14th and at the 34/36th week of gestation (end of treatment): at the same time the tolerability of the treatment was assessed.

Effective Integration
Following treatment with FerPlus Tre-Tard 30mg, hemoglobin levels remained stable and did not suffer the drop that generally affects 41.8% of pregnant women and which, in many cases, leads to situations of pregnancy anemia.

Absence of adverse events
There were no episodes of vomiting, heartburn, diarrhea or constipation, often linked to iron supplementation. Only one woman reported nausea at the end of treatment but did not stop taking it.

All women completed treatment thanks to the absence of deterrent adverse events.
