This bitter tasting liqueur could not be missing "earthy" and typical of the healthy roots of greater gentian. Compared to classic home recipes, especially those from Abruzzo, we do not use white wine but only alcohol and infusions with the addition of a secret ingredient that maximizes the bitter principles of such a precious plant.
Liqueur based on the infusion of Gentian lutea roots (Gentiana lutea).
A truly bitter Elixir due to the well-known properties of the roots of Gentian Lutea known as Greater Gentian or Yellow Gentian. The bitter principles contained in it are useful for balancing and stimulating the secretion of gastric juices, improving digestive activity and the assimilation of food. A recommendation: Do not uproot the Gentian plants, buy the roots from those who grow it specifically otherwise our mountains would be deprived of such a typical and representative plant. The gentian is a protected species and therefore those who collect it are subject to severe sanctions.
