L-LYSINE HCL
L-Lysine is an essential amino acid and must be introduced in the diet. Lysine is processed in the presence of vitamin C and becomes a constituent of Collagen, the protein that forms the scaffolding of connective tissues.
In mammalian proteins, all amino acids are found in the left-handed (L) chemical form, so the L-form of this amino acid is preferred in quality food supplements.
