Fish oil with 70% Omega 3
Property
• Metabolism of lipids and in particular of triglycerides: Camelina oil.
• Cardiac function: EPA and DHA. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of EPA and DHA.
• Brain and visual function: DHA. These beneficial effects are obtained with a daily intake of 250 mg of DHA.
Synergies
Fish oil with 70% Omega 3, titrated 35% EPA and 25% DHA, plus Camelina oil titrated 30% ALA
EPA (Eicosapentaenoic acid): It is a polyunsaturated fatty acid that belongs to the Omega-3 class. It is contained in some fish (cod, sardines and salmon) and our body can produce it from α-linolenic acid (ALA), even if this synthesis is not very efficient. In synergy with DHA it contributes to normal cardiac function.
DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid): It is a main component of fish oil and a constituent of the phospholipids of cell membranes (especially brain and retinal membranes). It promotes the maintenance of normal brain and visual function.
Camelina oil: Camelina seeds contain up to 43% oil, rich in antioxidants and ALA. ALA is the main precursor of fatty acids of the omega 3 class. It promotes the metabolism of lipids and in particular triglycerides.
