Australian Bush Flowers

Australian Flower Essences bear witness to an ancient tradition: Australian Aborigines frequently used flowers for emotional distress, as was the case with local populations in ancient Egypt, India, Asia and South America. The use of flower essences has had a long tradition and became very popular starting from medieval times in Europe. Both Hildegard Von Bingen (12th century AD) and Paracelsus (15th century) left written testimony of the common habit of collecting flower dew to deal with certain emotional discomforts. This methodology was adopted over half a century ago by Dr. Edward Bach.

Modern society expresses needs and problems that are different from the past. The answer to these needs can be given by Australian flower essences, whose peculiarities were identified and developed by Dr. Ian White, the last of five generations of Australian Practitioners.

Ian grew up in the “Bush”, a term used to define particularly wild areas of the territory. Ian's grandmother, an expert in the use of Australian plants, used to take her grandson for walks in the "Bush", similarly to what she did with Ian's mother. Thanks to his relevant experience and knowledge he was able to point out the numerous beneficial properties of plants and flowers.

Thanks to her, Ian developed a profound respect for Nature, which helped him become a pioneer and operator committed to researching the qualities of the plants of the Australian continent and in particular of floral essences.

*Australian flower essences are made according to the traditional technique of preparing flower essence products, aimed at imprinting the energetic information of Australian flowers. The term Essences does not refer to the presence of essential oils.
