ARMO 1191 - ARNICA PIANCAVALLO

Arnica montana ( Arnica montana L. ) is a medicinal plant that the populations of the European Alps have known since time immemorial for its pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory properties. The first experimental arnica beds date back to 2011, to date the three plots of land that we manage are home to around 100,000 plants on 6,500 m2. Since 2016 we have been marketing products under our brand made only with our ultra- concentrated raw material .

ARMO is an acronym.
It means ARnica MOntana . 1191 is the altitude where Arnica is grown.
We are in the thin strip of meadows on the edge of the Piancavallo plateau. Below ARMO1191 the Venetian-Friulian plain extends and, if the sky is clear, you can distinguish the deep blue of the Adriatic and the lighter blue of the coastal lagoons. A little further up the beech woods begin, inhabited by deer, chamois and roe deer.
ARMO1191 is a settlement of pioneer farmers. A few years ago we climbed the wall of the Friulian Prealps in search of land suitable for the cultivation of mountain Arnica.
ARMO1191 is a commitment to you and to the mountain environment. We use all the Arnica necessary in our products so that you can benefit from its active ingredients.
We do not employ cheaper substitutes, soft concentrations or synthetic shortcuts and we do not promise panaceas.
Most of the Arnica montana used in cosmetic formulations on the market comes from spontaneous harvesting. This practice, despite the limitations imposed by the habitat directive 92/43/EEC and the legislation of individual states, is unfortunately threatening the extinction of the species.
Using a product based on Arnica montana grown by man and not torn from the meadows is therefore, first of all, a choice to respect the natural environment
