Arnica oleolite is prepared by leaving the flowering tops of arnica montana covered in sunflower oil to macerate. Nonna Ortica's oleolite is prepared with 33% arnica calculated on the weight of the fresh plant.
Arnica montana is an alpine plant that grows from low altitudes up to over 2500 meters above sea level. It is a plant widely used for its anti-inflammatory properties in musculoskeletal problems such as bruises, sprains and widespread pain. Arnica oleolite can be applied several times a day but only on intact skin.
Allergic reactions may occur in case of hypersensitivity to the plant.
