HOW IT ALL BEGAN...

The year was 1611, when some monks of the Carmelite Order created a lemon balm water following a jealously guarded recipe. This natural medicine came from the hermit monks of Mount Carmel, which even before that time was exalted in the East for its great variety of medicinal plants. The hermit monks, who depended on the forces of nature, managed to steal the secrets of medicinal plants and thus created the recipe for lemon balm water. Carmol's recipe derives from ancient knowledge on the healing power of lemon balm water.

CARMOL DOES GOOD

Over the years, the aesthetics of the «original product», Carmol Gocce, has always been adapted to the respective era. But the slogan "Carmol is good for you" and the characteristic monk have remained over time. Also Carmol ^® it is still produced today from the essences of selected medicinal plants. In 1953 the Carmol factory was acquired by Dr. Adolf Schmidgall. The company then produced over 20 different preparations, mainly of plant origin. While most of the products were gradually abandoned, it was possible to market Carmol ^® thanks to a classic policy of promoting the brand's flagship item.

CARMOL OVER THE YEARS

Carmol ^® it is still the flagship product of this historic Swiss family-run company today. Over time, the Carmol assortment has been constantly expanded and adapted to customer needs. In addition to the classic Carmol drops, today the offer also includes the Carmol Topica line (ointment against rheumatism, massage fluid and sports gel), Carmol herbal sweets and Carmol throat lozenges.
